We are excited to announce that our director Kevin Urquhart CEng MIMechE WhSch(1997) was elected by his peers to be President of The Whitworth Society in their centenary year.
The Whitworth Society is comprised entirely of elected Whitworth Scholars, each of whom are successful engineers who demonstrated excellence in their respective studies and work environments in their early careers in order to secure a prestigious Whitworth Scholarship
Kevin says “This is an extremely proud moment for me, as I stand on the shoulders of giants in being able to lead this incredible historic society and represent its hugely impressive and diverse cohort of successful engineers of all disciplines working throughout the UK and overseas. I am looking forward to using this opportunity to promote the engineering profession to our members and the winder engineering community”
